A tasty, early ripening kiwi variety, which is a cross between Actinidia arguta var cordifolia with Actinidia melanandra (a red wild species). The strain produces relatively large, elongated, sweet fruits with red skin and red flesh. Creeper to about 1m (3 feet), requires climbing aid. Dioecious plant, that is, important to combine with self-pollinating kiwi fruit.
