Description
Elaeagnus ebbingei is an evergreen oleaster. It is well suited to create an evergreen hedge. The leaves are greyish-green on top and silver below. Elaeagnus ebbingei can be pruned to keep its shape. If it is not pruned, it will produce small, fragrant flowers and eventually red berries. These berries are edible and can be used to create jams. Eleagnus is a strong plant that can even be grown around coastal areas, as it is resitant against salty winds.
