Description
The Taxus Media Hilli is a dark green taxus. No berries grow on this type of Taxus. The Hilli is suitable for hedges to 2m (6 feet) in height. It is a slow grower and even more dense- growing than the Taxus Baccata. The Taxus Hilli can be placed in the shadow and in the sun. This conifer is fully winter-resistant and can become very old.
Tip: Plant approximately 3 Taxus per meter (1 plant per foot).
Hicksii is the female variety of Taxus media. Taxus media Hillii is the male variety that can pollinate Hicksii.
