This beautiful plant has, as its Latin name might give away, its origin in the Taiwanese mountains. It is beloved for its hand-shaped leaves, which give it its beautiful exotic appearance. It fits in pretty much any garden, as it is suited in both sunny as well as shady spots. It grows up to 2 metres tall, but is also suited for pruning if you would like to keep it a bit smaller. Older plants may flower and give fruits.
