This famous tree, recognisable by its swollen bottle shaped trunk comes from Queensland, Australia, where it can reach 20 metres high. Its imposing green - grey trunk is actually a water reserve, allowing it to survive drought!

Cultivate in cold or temperate soil, or in very southern climes grow on outdoors in sunny place in very rich, well drained soil.
