Salix integra flamingo - Dappled Japanese willow
Salix integra Flamingo is a very popular small tree with small, neat leaves which are prettily variegated white and pink. Slender, glossy, orange-brown stems are attractive in winter.
Cut hard back each year in late winter or early spring to promote colourful new growth. Grows around 1 m (3 feet) above height at which purchased in 10 years. Plant in moist or damp soil, in a sunny, sheltered spot. Great for small front gardens!
