Serenoa repens Silver Form - Saw palmetto
Serenoa repens form is quite rare now due to housing and agriculture development in Florida near the Atlantic coast. The green form is more common and not as rare as the blue/silver form. We are able to offer some we imported from Florida.
It is a robust, handsome and ornamental palm. Reasonably hardy. Used as a medicine for prostate conditions and hair loss.
