This plant has been in cultivation for thousands of years, so we don't know the exact origins of this palm tree. Date palms love the warmth and can tolerate extreme heat - prerequisites for delicious dates of great quality. The tree reaches a maximum height of 20-25 m (60-75 feet), and in time multiple trunks can be formed.
