Livistona chinensis - Chinese Fan Palm
Palm tree from Japan, Taiwan, and the Ryukyu Islands. In habitat it grows in open forest.
An attractive, solitary fan palm growing to about 10m (30 feet) high with distinctive drooping tips to its leaves.
It likes a sunny, moist position, but its easy to grow palm, tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Can take some frost.
