Bloombux magenta - Bloombux
The Bloombux is the perfect alternative to boxwood. This rhododendron is a dwarf bush and has the good qualities of the boxwood and the advantages of a rhododendron. In contrast to the normal rhododendron, it does not need acid soil but would like to be fertilized at the beginning of April and June with long-term manure or low-chlorine mineral compound fertilizer.
This rhododendron is evergreen, flowers in June with striking large pink flowers with a diameter of up to 8 cm. This rhododendron is suitable as a pot plant, hedge plant or flat plant in borders. Bumblebees, butterflies and bees are attracted by these beautiful flowers. The low growth height of this box replacement makes pruning easy.
