Biological pest control for spider mites
Nicus, the natural enemy of spider mites, effectively combats your infestation. Known for its voracious appetite, a single Nicus insect can consume up to 160 spider mite eggs during its lifetime. This makes Nicus a fast and efficient solution against spider mites.

How to use Nicus
Nicus is supplied in a breeding sachet containing approximately 200 predatory mites. These will gradually emerge over a period of four to six weeks, offering ongoing protection for your plant. Hang the sachet in the plant, close to the affected area. There is no need to open the sachet, as it features a special exit hole allowing Nicus to crawl out on its own. Choose a sheltered location, out of direct sunlight. Nicus can also be used on balconies or in gardens. Once the spider mite infestation has been resolved, Nicus will naturally disappear.
How to store Nicus
We recommend hanging the sachets in the affected plants immediately upon receipt. If you need to store them briefly, you may do so for one to two days in a cool, dark place. Handle the sachets carefully, as pressure may crush the insects inside.
Important information
Nicus is most effective at temperatures between 12 and 38 degrees Celsius, with a minimum humidity level of 60 percent. In the case of severe infestations, a second treatment is advised after two months. Individuals with allergies to shellfish, crustaceans or house dust mites may experience allergic reactions to Irski. Wearing gloves is recommended.

Your plants are excellently protected during transport in a custom-made box. The houseplants are neatly transported upright, which significantly reduces the risk of damage compared to transport in a regular passenger car.
