This beautiful variety of Yucca rostrata is just as hardy, but has a brighter blue colour than the normal Yucca rostrata. The leaves are often slightly shorter compared to the normal Yucca rostrata but have the same spherical shape.
Adult Yucca rostrata Sapphire skies grow large, white flowers in Spring. It is a slow growing plant that requires little maintenance in European climates. Blue beaked Yucca requires well-drained soil and prefers a sunny location. It is fully winter hardy. Well suited to be planted out in your garden or as a potted plant on for example a balcony.
