Liriope muscari 'Monroe White' is a dark-green ornamental grass. The flowering period of this plant is from August to October and it blooms with beautiful, white flower spikes. This lily grass is good to use as border planting and as a ground cover. However, it should be noted that Liriope muscari Monroe White can freeze in late or severe frosts!
In the spring (late March) prune the old leaves and faded ears. Then a new fresh green leaf will be formed in April. Protect the plant against frost by placing it in a sheltered place. In addition, it is wise to cover the soil around the plant with straw or dry leaves.
