Yucca campestris x filamentosa is a hybrid of Yucca campestris and Yucca filamentosa.
De Yucca filamentosa is a strong desert plant with beautiful flowers. Furthermore, it is an evergreen that is also comepletely hardy! Yucca filamentosa grows up to +/- 150 cm tall and with upright leaves. The flowers appear near the end of summer. As it is a desert plant, they do prefer a lot of sun with well drained soil.
Yucca campestris is a small but rare yucca. They originate in Texas, where they are found in arid areas, both as solitary plants as well as in groups. The greenish-blue leaves look stunning on top its trunk. Definately a unique plant!
Hybrids get a bith of both parent plant; their hardiness, colour of leaves and the beautiful flowers make this hybrid into a real eye catcher!
