One of the hardiest
The Banana Yucca more closely resembles a century plant with its stout, thick succulent leaves. The plant blooms in summer with very showy spikes of large ivory flowers followed by clusters of large fleshy fruits. Birds love to peck at the seed pods, eating the sweet flesh.
