This beautiful conifer tree can reach a height of about 50 metres and a circumference of aproximately2 metres in Western Europe. In its natural habitat (west coast of the USA) it can reach heights of even 100-120 metres and a circumference of 9 metres wide. It is a medium fast growing conifer that can grow about 80-100 cm per year in European climates. It is a winter hardy evergreen tree.
