Pennisetum alopecuroides Red Head is a medium sized ornamental grass which commonly grows up to 1 metre tail.This Chinese fountain grass is well known to have large purple plumes which appear from Juli until October and often stay until the end of winter. It is recommended to cut these plumees in March.
Prefers a sunny or half-shady location and well-drained soil.
