Boxwood blighth and the Boxwood moth have been a real pain for Boxwood. Fortunately, the Ilex crenata Robustico proves a great alternative to Boxwood. It does not suffer from the blighth nor moth, and grow both faster and stronger. Robustico is very tolerant of pruning and can be cut in many shapes. It is suited foor hedges, plant throughs, pots and many more. Another benefit of the Robustico is that it grow small blossoms from May to June thatattract insects. This strong plant is winterhardy and wintergreen, which means the Robustico keeps its ornamental value all year round with its glossy leaves.
