This unique palm is a rare find, and only appears naturally on the Comoros islands near Madagaskar. With its moderate growth rate it tends to do well in subtropical climates or interiors. A unique aspect of this Dypsis is the size of the leaves, which are much broader than most Dypsis trees.
This palm is unfortunately not frost resistant, and needs a warm spot. It can tolerate a minimal amount of sun, so it is a good pick for an interior palm.
