Chamaecyparis lawsoniana "Globosa" is a slow-growing conifer with upright, compact, broad growth. "Globosa" can grow up to 125 cm (4 feet). The somewhat hanging leaf is blue green to grey green. "Globosa" is hardy and evergreen and is therefore a colourful addition to the winter garden!
"Globosa" grows best as a eye-catching solitary or at the corner of the border. Chameacyparis lawsoniana "Globosa" grows best on dry to moist, slightly acidic, well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. The plant cannot stand standing water or soil that is too wet.
