Irish Green is beautiful wintergreen ornamental grass. The shade of green depends on its location. In sunnier spots, it will have more of a light-colored green, whereas it turns darker green in a spot with more shade. It grows up to 50cm high.
It requires little maintenance. It may need a little bit of pruning, which can be done in early spring. This is optional and limited to remove dead or ugly leaves. Furthermore, the Irish Green is a disease-resistant grass that is happy with most soils, as long as it is well-drained, especially in winter.
Irish Green is winterhardy until roughly -13 degrees Celcius. That means that it will survive most winters without a problem but may need some help during the more severe winters.
