These handsome perennials form strong clumps, the erect stems carrying large umbels of blue flowers. Gives a wonderful show of large flowers in mid summer. Suited to most soils in full sun. Keep moist but well drained. Agapanthus Intermedia can achieve a size up to 100 cm (3 feet) and is very attractive to insects. Plant this Agpanthus in the garden or grow it as a feature in a patio pot. Apply liquid feed monthly from spring to flowering. Protect in the winter or move the container to a protected position. Agapanthus Intermedia is excellent for cut flowers.
